Our first mix of 2020 comes from Junglist 1996, the old school D&B alias recently started by Polish producer Roominsky. As you might expect for a producer with a number of recent releases for Beat Spectrum, Roominsky delivers a mix full of cuts from the Aussie label alongside technoid and darkstep selections from Position Chrome, Perkussiv Music and Habit Recordings. Anyone hankering for the hard, amen-edged sounds of late 90s and early 2000s D&B will definitely enjoy this one!
Bristol-based production duo Jaskin & Uneven celebrate their recent EP for None60 with a new mix for DNB Dojo! Blending plenty of their own music with dubs from the None60 crew and cuts from the likes of Dominic Ridgway, Lewis James and Mauoq, this is a deep journey through the more experimental side of 170BPM music. Perfect Friday listening!
Our latest guest mix comes from LA-based producer Akuratyde! With three exceptional releases under his belt for Blu Mar Ten Music and some excellent remixes for the likes of Soulvent and Locked Concept, he’s one of the most exciting producers in the deep and melodic end of 170, as evidenced by a mix that takes in the likes of Bop, Margari’s Kid and Djrum alongside plenty of his own productions. Chilled vibes for your weekend!
Polish techstep producer and DJ Detoxic delivers a half hour of power for Mix Series 95! Having notched up releases for the likes of Delta9, Krytika Productions, Critical Bass and Strictly Deep DNB, the man knows his way around a dark groove, and that’s exactly what he’s delivering here with a mix featuring new cuts from names like Survey, Bredren and Particle. Check it!
Today’s guest mix comes courtesy of Unchained Recordings’ Daniel Power! Featuring a whole host of label dubs alongside new releases from Hospital, 1985 Music and Hi-Resolution, the mix takes in halftime, jungle, dancefloor rollers and more, with a unifying theme of party vibes and maximum bass. Sick selection!
Kiwi artist Habit joins us with a rolling, dancefloor-oriented selection for episode 93 of our guest mix series! With releases under his belt for The Dreamers, Mayan Audio and Nemesis, Habit is a busy many, running two radio shows in New Zealand and helping organise club nights and festivals to boot. A true D&B soldier, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the mix…
Our latest guest mix comes courtesy of Polish producer and DJ Mateusz Dudziński aka Snik. Producing for over a decade and with releases under his belt for Black Crane, Omni Music and Absys, Snik’s 170 work sits at the deeper end of the spectrum, taking influence from the autonomic sound. His mix takes in those depths alongside some more traditional deep rollers, with music from Instra:mental, dBridge, Seba and Makoto sitting alongside plenty of Snik’s own productions including some unreleases dubs. Deeper beats for your Sunday…
Our latest mix guest is an artist we’ve admired for some time now; hailing from Hawaii and a regular contributor of releases to Detached Audio, we’re excited to welcome Option to the Dojo decks! As you’d expect from the man’s productions, the focus here is on soulful liquid rollers and emotional drum and bass, and we think you’ll agree it delivers in spades. Check it out, and keep your ears peeled for some unreleased music from the man himself.
Our latest guest mix comes from up and coming producer Accelerated! Hailing from Buenos Aires in Argentina, the 23 year old has already scored releases on Warm Ears Music and Soul Deep, and found support on Drum & Bass Arena; expect big things from him over the coming months! For his Dojo mix he’s assembled a deep, rolling selection, taking in moody tech and rich liquid from the likes of Monty, Whychek, Alix Perez and Kove, plus of course some unreleased business from his own archive. Top selections!
Belgian duo Glÿph (aka Clearlight and Owl) step up with our latest guest mix, bringing the minimal techfunk stylings that fans will already know and love them for.
