November Roundup Part Two

As usual the D&B scene is throwing more material at our collective ears than we could ever possibly keep up with, so once again we’re here to assist your record buying proclivities with the best of the rest from Audio, Lockjaw, Soul:Motion & Colossus and more… Continue reading

Colossus & Imprint – Broken Chains EP [Rogue Beatz]

Rogue Beatz are back and this time they’re bringing the liquid rollers, with Rush Records alumni Colossus & Imprint on the buttons for some smooth, rolling styles. Both tracks on offer here are worthy of your attention but for us it’s all about Broken Chains, a tough edged slice of deep liquid with a top notch bit of amen chopping in the bridge. Definitely check this one out – it’s due at all good digital stores from April 30th.

Altered Perception & Imprint – Weight EP [Rogue Beatz]

The ever prolific Altered Perception joins forces with Imprint for two bassy slices of dancefloor tech on Rogue Beatz. The appropriately titled Weight brings hefty bass pressure and a chunky rolling break to the table for a tune that’s sure to move some dancing feet, while This Joy strips things back a bit, playing with some interesting samples of the backbone of beats and sub.

Check out the clips below and look for this one at all good digital stores, with vinyl to follow soon!

Synx – Textures EP [Rogue Beatz]

Rogue Beatz return with a fresh 4 track EP from Australian producer Synx, who turns in four tracks of dark, gritty techstep. All four tracks are well worth a look for those that like it grimey and rolling but for me the picks of the bunch are the tidy head-nodding groove of Pro’s and Con’s and the eerie atmospherics of Hard As Fuck. Check out the clips below and grab this one on vinyl and digital now!
