Neurofunk fans who aren’t already familiar with French production trio Signs should definitely keep an eye on them this year. Made up of Opsen, Primal Therapy and Le Lutin, Signs already have releases under their belts with the likes of RAM and Project 51 and don’t look to be slowing down!
Their latest single for Vandal sees them teaming up with MC Coppa for a big bad peak-time stomper in the mold of Pocket Full of Dropsor On Like That, with a hefty instrumental on the flip for good measure. Not the most original tracks you’ll hear this year but if you’re looking for high octane beats to smash up a rave these are faultless in their execution; check out the clips below and look for the single dropping from Feb 16th.
Kritix return to Mayan Audio with a stomping new single featuring the vocal talents of MC Coppa. Drop It provides a decent slice of synth-led neuro action but really it’s all about Traction on the A side here – no holds barred D&B energy flows through this tracks veins in ample quantities! Head over to the Mayan store to pre-order this one now, and watch out for Beatport release from Jan 12th with full release following from Jan 26th.
Fans of Prolix will know what to expect from his latest output – the Transcendent EP sees him teaming up with some of the biggest names in the neurofunk scene for an all out assault on your senses, and the results are pure dancefloor destruction. Highlights include the supreme midrange aggression of the titular Transcendent (with Neosignal’s Misanthrop), the hard snares and off kilter riddims of Vital Condition (with MC Coppa on vocals) and the big gnarly stomper that is Next Level (featuring Offkey alumni Meth).
