Belgian duo Glÿph (aka Clearlight and Owl) step up with our latest guest mix, bringing the minimal techfunk stylings that fans will already know and love them for. Packed full of dubs alongside tunes from the likes of Screamarts, Ground, Arkaik & QZB, this is the future sound of dark drum & bass…get to know.
Another month, another wicked slice of stripped back tech from Counterpoint’s Counter x Culture series! Today we’ve got Glÿph on the remix for Dyrekt, taking an original from the same EP and adding an extra layer of percussive detail and bassline sizzle. Wicked stuff! Look for this dropping July 23rd.
As they gear up to unleash their brand new Belgian Connection LP, we thought it was high time for a little knees up with Lifestyle Music. Read on for the full lowdown on the album, the label ethos and their favourite tunes right now, plus we’ve got the exclusive premiere of Glÿph – The Megalodonist!
Rotterdam label Blendits returns after a bit of a hiatus with a top new single from Glÿph, aka Belgian producers Clearlight & Owl. Providing the flip to heavier track Detached, Forheit goes in deep on sound design and atmosphere, building tension around the intricate drum rhythms and powerful sub. Cinematic business with enough edge for the club…just how we like it. Look for this one coming May 11th via all the usual outlets.
Absys Records present their seventh vinyl release featuring new beats from ArpXP, Glyph and Gremlinz. ArpXP heads for warm, rolling liquid on the A side while the flip sees Glyph and Gremlinz on a militant half-step stomper with plenty of mean bass reverberations and creepy pads. The Belgian duo also turn in a cheeky digital freebie with more menacing bass and some nasty amen chop ups; dark business. Check out the clips below and grab this one from your favourite store now!
