With the release of Dojo Mix Series #99 earlier this month, we felt it was time for a new lick of paint. The Dojo Mix Series is dead…long live the Dojo Guest Mix. New artwork, new mixes, same quality vibes from underground producers large and small. Delivering the first of the new series is German production duo Smuskind. With releases for imprints like Addictive Behaviour and Drum Army, these boys know their way around a tough roller…

DNB Dojo Mix Series 99: Junglist 1996

Our first mix of 2020 comes from Junglist 1996, the old school D&B alias recently started by Polish producer Roominsky. As you might expect for a producer with a number of recent releases for Beat Spectrum, Roominsky delivers a mix full of cuts from the Aussie label alongside technoid and darkstep selections from Position Chrome, Perkussiv Music and Habit Recordings. Anyone hankering for the hard, amen-edged sounds of late 90s and early 2000s D&B will definitely enjoy this one!
